Portable data is the essence of ISO 8000 the international standard for quality data. We are working on a simplified version of the standard so that data can only be labeled as ISO 8000 compliant when it is truly portable. Saying it is does not make it so, the standard provides a practical method pf testing data to see if it is portable. A draft version is available and would appreciate group comments

— requirements and definition of portable data;
— requirements and definition of dictionary concept identifiers;
— syntax and semantics of the structured data format;
— mechanism to represent portable data in the structured data format.
The following are outside the scope of this document:
— content within the structured data format;
